    You see if you have a position and you waver from it to make a concession to the other sides position to move the country forward then that is compromise.

    There's nothing to compromise. Govt needs to step up and quit spending. After five years of debt reduction, we'll talk.

    So if you want 5 trillion in cuts over 10 years but only get 2 trillion cuts over 10 years which will amount to no cuts over 10 years ... thats compromise?
