Unfrigging believable?

The republican party of today no longer exists as a believable political entity.

Where are the Boners, Kantors, and Waddle Chins?

this is great. republicans are moving farther to the right wing. they have no problem slamming and criticizing their own presidential candiate john mccain.....but they kneel down on bended knee and grovel for forgiveness from a pill popping, three time divorced, obese, rightwing talk radio clown.

rush is the defacto leader of the GOP. Does it get any better than this?

Steele practically cried he was so afraid to upset Rushbot... the voice of the republican party.

That's a good thing, because for too long now we've had republicans acting like democrats, and if Rush can whip the republican party back to it's true conservative roots, which it needs, then we'll be far better off. When the conservative block is united behind one candidate, that candidate wins. We know that. The republican party better get that through their collective skull and stand WITH Rush.

absofuckingloutely! :clap2:

I generally like Steele, but he was drifting too far into the celebrity moment of his new post as head of the RNC, instead of getting down to the difficult task of returning the party to its fiscal conservative roots.

Rush called him on it.

Good for him.

I see an all day whine coming on.. poor wittle democwat.

Harsh words from the WIC (Winer in Chief)

Retired, it's not wining, it's gloating and hope that your party as it stands today will implode and come out the other side as a real Republican party like it was in the past. It would be nice to have two parties that could work together for the good of the country and not have one that tells its members to automatically oppose everything the current president does. No, the dems did not say that with Bush.

You haven't seen any one on the left bowing to Randy Rhodes who is a hell of a lot smarter and better read than Oxy Contin Boy.

Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer," Steele said during an interview Saturday night with CNN's D.L. Hughley. He then referred to the right-wing hero's popular radio talk show as "incendiary" and "ugly."

And when Hughley referred to Limbaugh as the "de facto leader of the Republican Party," a narrative that gleeful Democrats have been promoting for weeks, Steele bristled.

"No he's not," he said. "I'm the de facto leader of the Republican Party."

During his program Monday, Limbaugh, who used a nearly 1 1/2-hour speech before conservative activists in Washington Saturday to assert that Republicans should want Obama to fail, blasted back.

"Michael Steele — you are head of the RNC; you are not head of the Republican Party," said Limbaugh, who also said that "something happened" to Steele.

"He got airtime on this program," Limbaugh said. "Now I'm just an 'entertainer,' and now I'm 'ugly' and my program is 'incendiary.' "

Steele told Politico Monday that he called after Limbaugh's show to let the radio host know he had meant no offense.

"I went back at that tape and I realized words that I said weren't what I was thinking," Steele said. "It was one of those things where I thinking I was saying one thing, and it came out differently. What I was trying to say was a lot of people ... want to make Rush the scapegoat, the bogeyman, and he's not."

Steele's comments prompted Gov. Tim Kaine, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, to issue a statement that characterized Steele's "reversal" as proof that "Limbaugh is the leading force behind the Republican Party, its politics, and its obstruction of President Obama's agenda in Washington."

that's pretty much all you have is "hope" I hope it keeps you warm..and don't try to feed us that Democrats were nobel and worked with Bush bullshit.. ain't you smart enough yet to know that dog don't hunt?

Between Rush and Obama's miserable failure in the presidency (which is occurring as we speak) I think we'll gradually turn more conservative...

This is what happened to usher in Reagan. You get a militant lefty in the presidency, and the majority will swing right out of self defense. Imagine that.

Hey thanks for reminding me to tune into Rush via the internet today. LMAO

not to highjack this thread but on a good note GE stocks are down again today. LOL

Mea culpa, mea culpa, Rush. The fat man exemplifies the conservative republican party today, 'just say No' to helping fellow Americans while he makes 30 million a year, drinks expensive French wine, buys exotic foreign cars, and smokes expensive foreign cigars. Too funny, the French must love Rush as I have read expensive Bordeaux is a favorite of his, that along with feel-good drugs, and multiple divorces. A regular man of the people. What a sad party when this is the best they can do! Sure makes Steele un-steel like. ROTFLMAO

Can I join in on the fun, guys??

Limbaugh for President!!
US wants Smart, honest Conservatives--
Not weak-knee Liberal Loon Republicans(like Steele)!!

I don't follow the Rush and Obama part.

But only you could declare his presidency a failure in a months time. Dream on. This will be a blow to conservatism for years to come.

Your motto is "Entropy Forever"

I never said the Dems supported Bush (except right after 9-11 and then he squandered that with his arrogance), I said they never put out the official work like Boner to just say no to everything Bush said. You know that is the truth. Actually, maybe you don't with the cognitive dissonance running amok in your party today.:cuckoo:

The bankers will do whatever they have to do to maintain control of this country they own. If that means sabotaging progress, so be it.

That's why I love it how careful Obama is going about changing the system. If he goes too fast, they'll kill him like JFK. If he is too much of a pussy, they'll fuck him like they did Carter.

Obama is too smart.

And we expect to hear from people like you. It is March 3rd and he got sworn in on 1-20. He has already done more than I hoped for. And he hasn't even gotten started.

And when he takes this country back, and puts the bankers and corporations back in their place, and your wages go up, and regulations are back in place, you can say it was Jon Boehner and Bush that were responsible. :eusa_liar:

But it is Obama's to either fail or succeed. I'm not saying he's succeeded yet, and I think you and Rush want him to fail just a little too much.

PS. This country isn't a completely free market capitalist country. We have some socialism in our system. Did when Reagan was in office, bush too. And there is a reason Reagan and Bush didn't change that. Because that's not reality.

So if you vote for the GOP, you are voting for a fairytale. Its not reality.
