Well, China has mandated it by law that the energy companies have to buy the green energy the energy producers produce. When you're a marxist nation that don't give a damn about the poor you can do a lot of things. We're not. We have a market place that works on profit.

Green energy is a joke. We should be mining for coal and drilling for oil.

That is exactly what happened with Solyandra. It knew all along it could not compete with China.

When you have unions demanding 10 times for each American worker compared to slave labor within China...Whats to be expected? Plus it's not ever going to compete against coal, oil, nuclear and hydro in a million freaking years...Any money we put into those is to develop those more or to find more of such, but solar and wind, we have to put a crap loads into just to hold up in the first place. It is a joke.

Only the rich within China are going to be able to afford solar and wind either...So most of the nation will still be powered by coal.

Can you offer a rebuttal that we can, in fact, compete?

Party of "No we can't": We should only subsidize oil companies (40 billion/year)- that's where the money is...

We will have some jobs selling the imported green tech to other Americans and installing it.

Now if we could just lower the labor costs more to make more profit.
