What you talking bout, Willis?

I'm not black.

Read. Statism/unionism/progressivism/socialism/leftism/communism/community organizisingism/ died tonight when Americans in Wisconsin spoke.

Statism is dead. Americans do not want it. Americans are tired of people who got elected by leeches determining what they can or can not do.

Americans are tired of Rachel Maddow.

I wish I could agree, but the ideology will always be around. As long as we have the ignorant, the lazy, the leeches of society, there will always be those who pander for the state handouts. So there will always be politicians who pander to them and try to stir them up.

Best we can hope for is to keep them a minority voting block and keep exposing them as the idiots they are.

Im pretty sure it's still alive and kicking. It's existed since at least the Tower of Babel. It will likely continue into the future if we are careless in governing ourselves and our representatives.

Well shit. You guys are correct.

Why won't statist just let people be? Fuck, quit trying to enforce what they think is best upon people. It's really no different than the King or Church used to do.

Just stop enforcing your ideas on other people.

The envy, avarice, sloth and greed that drives the collectivists will be here as long as humans are still around, unfortunately.

Mankind is forever resided to play Whack-a-Mole against these forces of evil.

Someone play Don McLean.

Fuck you Commies!

Statism won't die, because without it you have anarchy. Even the most minarchist government is going to need some tax money. How ya gonna get it from me, MFer, without using state power? That's the problem with libertarianism, it's a pipe dream. If you think out what would happen in the situation of a relatively weak state, I don't see how it doesn't completely fall apart, as we fall into a new feudalism with people looking for protection from the strong, instead of the state.

As everyone knows, commie, that was not what he meant by 'statism.'

A distinction without a difference. Tell us what it means. As far as I can see it means "anything I disagree with".

BTW, your statement is false on the face of it, since I disagree. It shows the totalitarian underpinnings of "isms". They all talk about what "everyone" believes, implying that to disagree makes you an enemy, "the other". Hitler and Stalin would be proud.

I think that the people that have the most power and money should be able to take away what ever little bit of money and benefits that people who do not have power and money might have.

I think the power to the monied interests should be written into the COTUS. Kinda like the old "Golden Rule". Remember; the ones with the gold rule.

Nothing wrong with having the monied people deciding everything. After all, they have the m o n e y.
ANd they would not have all that money if they weren't smarter, better looking and much harder working than any person living or dead that does not have lots of money.

I just don't know why people will not truly embrace the plutocracy. It ain't so bad.

statism, stateism
1. the principle of concentrating major political and economic controls in the state.
2. the support of the sovereignty of the state. — statist, n., adj.

As opposed to the sovereignty of the people. Central planners, are statists. They want the state to have all power to run the lives of the citizens.

A lack of statism does not equate to anarchy, fool.

Well, I'm sure that billionaires everywhere will be happy to know you are there ready to shine their shoes for them.

Now go get your shinebox!

I guess you have some evidence too prove that's true? :eusa_whistle:

Statism is just a rallying cry that means "anything I disagree with". Libertarians would have a state so weak it wouldn't even have the power collect taxes for protecting the country. If I'm wrong, why has no country embraced the philosophy?
