Besides a large portion of the news being fake, the same is true in science it seems, abd not just climate science. Driven by agenda and large sums of money they get published and we get stuck with the bill and complications.

I oppose fraud in science but what you're saying is we shouldn't fund science because there's some fraud. Why not make the punishment harsher for fraud and fund science?
