starving in Texas

Why do you try so hard to pretend these people (including children) do not exsist?

Your own link showed that lack of proper nutrition is starving

Oh my god.

I provided that so you would see the definition. Now please show me, from YOUR source, where it says that children are starving in Texas. NOT that their parents are having a tough time making ends meet.

But really, you obviously have something wrong with you and don't understand what's being said, so I think this conversation is a waste of my time.

What do you know about Tejas Steph? You're a city girl.

Shows how much you think you know about me..I just moved from living up around Fairbanks Alaska for seventeen years. Was living there when I joined this board..
You ever been to Alaska? Here's a picture I took from the base I working at..It was 70degrees inside, 58 below zero outside..lol

In Texas, 18 percent are facing hunger - San Antonio Express-News

According to a new report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Texas ranks second in the nation in the percentage of people struggling with “food insecurity,” a term that refers to households where members have difficulty meeting their food needs.

In 2010, more than 4 million Texans — 18 percent — either experienced hunger outright or altered their eating patterns to avoid hunger, such as buying less healthy but more filling food.

Someone called this President the food stamp President.
The Libs played the race card and called that person a racist...
We have the most people on food stamps then ever before.
Funny I didn't realize they all lived in Texas and it's all
Gov.Perry's fault.

I thought it was a nation wide issue.Another problem this President is not responsible for.

What is truly funny is TM is trying to claim that her ignorant number is A TRUE and B all Perry's fault. The reality it is a Federal Program and if an elected person is to blame for the standards and failures of the masses for knowing about it, that would be the President not a Governor of a single State of 50.

And the left has claimed we can not blame Obama while they blame Perry. Be prepared more idiotic shit like this will fly the closer we get to next years election.

It's certainly interesting to read how we Americans have this 'tude about ourselves , especially from Americans who are double or triple dipplers , and apparently have no better thing to do (because they're basically on the gov dole) than to grow an a*s the shape of their computer chairs lamenting those Americans having a rough go, while harboring little remorse of forwarding serious tax $$$ to bail out some sh*tholistan country

can you say 'We the People' in muslim?

Rick Perry 2012 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Republicans mock starving people. Helping them eat would be "socialism".

Truth, I don't think you are telling a mistruth on purpose, but kids in Texas are not truly starving. I think you truly are concerned..but someone who makes 3k or even 2k a month is not starving and not even close to starving. Starving is what I just defined it as...when a person, and I have watched this with my own eyes....eats beans, green bananas, rice, and that is it..that is suffering poverty...when I say those things on that list it is an every day thing once a day every day of the month. Will a person starve to death eating it? No...will they be malnurished?Yes. In fact, there are two months of the year that people in the rural areas often only have tortillas and salt to eat...no beans, no rice, nada...that would be in the months of June and July.

Here is something for you to read and think about Truth and then tell me that people in Texas aren't really lucky instead..and not suffering from hunger in any real sense at all..
