There is not one lawyer in the world smarter than a parasite when it comes to getting something for nothing. Lawyers practice the second oldest profession, while parasites surely have seniority over hustling girls and lawyers. That is why I wish Justice Alito’s example would have cited uneducated parasites instead of educated lawyers:
If more than two can constitute a legal marriage why not four or twenty? My point. One parasite works and accumulates Social Security benefits. Question: When the breadwinner dies how long do you think it will take the surviving 19 “spouses” to claim benefits? More to the point, does each survivor get a piece of the pie? or does each survivor collect the full amount since each one was legally married to the breadwinner on the day he, or she, shuffled off to Buffalo?
Finally, I’m praying the Nifty Nine is smart enough to figure out that uneducated parasites are as wise as a tree full of owls when it comes to getting free stuff.
