The midterms are about Congress; so conservatives do not have to waste time sifting through presidential candidates. Most assuredly they do not have to listen to Karl Rove pontificating on strategy. Why would anyone think a man who is so wrong about candidates is right about issues?

Come 2016 the media will all but ignore the importance of congressional races by turning the race for the White House into everything that is good and noble in America’s form of government. There is no media lie more destructive than the one that glorifies the office while sweetening the foul odor emanating from the men who fill the office. In fact, more often than not American presidents are more corrupt in all things than are their minions. Scum rises to the top. Let me offer two examples. I would cite Clinton, too, but I want to show a connection to the US Senate.

JFK/LBJ were two sitting senators when they stole the election from Richard Nixon in 1960. JFK’s 1,000 days as president can hardly be called a success story; triggering a Peace Without Victory war in Vietnam, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Berlin Wall top the list. Do a little research and you’ll learn why they were disasters for the country.

NOTE: Trying to stop Communist expansion in SE Asia remains something Americans should be proud of. Peace Without Victory was the true tragedy in the Vietnam War. American liberals forcing defeat on their own country was the high point of their America-hating lives, while the Soviet Union imploding is surely the low point.

The mess created by LBJ’s losing War on Poverty continues to grow in his “Great Society.” I’ll leave it you to decide if America became a great society in the decades after LBJ left office.

Barack Taqiyya and Big Mouth Biden were also sitting senators in 2008. The damage they did, and continue to do, makes JFK/LBJ look like misguided idiots. Interestingly, the only way you can say anything good about JFK/LBJ is to point out that they were basically loyal to country compared to Taqiyya/Biden who betray the country at every turn.

Parenthetically, anybody who wants to impeach Taqiyya the Liar better take a long hard look at what happened after LBJ replaced JFK. My point: It’s better to keep the garbage you have than it is to give new garbage a licence to add his filth to the old garbage.

One positive thing is shaping up for Tea Party conservatives. Three media darlings have all but taken themselves out of consideration.

Chris Christie, the first media darling for 2016, already lost the conservative vote. This latest bit of info shows that Christie loves property taxes as much as Democrats love the income tax:

Property tax burden up 13 pct under Christie
By GEOFF MULVIHILL
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - An analysis by The Associated Press has found the net household property tax burden rose 13% in Gov. Chris Christie's first three years in office.

Property tax burden up 13 pct under Christie - My9 New Jersey

Christie’s one claim to fame is that he stood up to New Jersey’s teachers’ unions. That contradicts his record on property taxes. For the most part the education industry is funded by property taxes. The fear in electing Christie is that he might try to implement a federal tax on real property in order to give more money to the education industry nationwide. New Jersey’s liberals might not object, but a Northeast liberal in the White House with Christie’s views on property taxation is much too risky to chance:

The theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property. Karl Marx (1818 – 1883) and Friedrich Engels (1820 – 1895)

Darling number 2

Aside from Jeb Bush giving Hillary Clinton something called the Liberty Medal, Michelle Malkin buries any hope Bush the Youngest had of getting the conservative vote:

Yep. If you question Jeb Bush and his Big Business/Big Government cronies, you stand foursquare against student achievement and intellectual rigor. Pay attention, all you informed moms and dads who have raised pointed, carefully researched questions about the costs, quality, validity, constitutionality and intrusiveness of Common Core. Bush thinks you are “purely political” beasts who are recklessly harming your own kids’ scholastic advancement.

Jeb Bush's latest Common Core snit fit

The man in this video was forcibly ejected for asking questions about Common Core:

The Youtube was part of this post:

Maryland Parent arrested for challenging Common Core

At a Towson, Maryland school board meeting on Thursday, a parent attempting to ask questions about Common Core was arrested and charged with second-degree assault of a police officer. The event was recorded by another parent, and later related by yet another to Michelle Malkin. Robert Small focused on the lowering of educational standards in his complaint, saying “You are not preparing them for Harvard,” but rather a community college.

I don’t know what happened when they were off-camera. The video does not show the parent assaulting the security guard who is also an off-duty cop. I do know that media race hustlers would have gone ballistic had it been a white cop pushing a black guy around. Bottom line: If Jeb Bush supports Common Core he also supports abusing anyone who criticizes Common Core.

Media darling number 3

Conservatives will be better off voting for Mickey Mouse than they would be if they voted for Marco Rubio. I know that a few conservatives still think Rubio is okay. To them I say “Ten positives do not erase one major negative like amnesty.”

With the exception of Ronald Reagan the media selected the candidates from both parties for most of my adult life; hence, it did not matter which of the two won the general election. That alone tells you how the country arrived at where it is at today.

In simpler times the media picked and eliminated candidates by praising their candidate, and ridiculing their opponent. In order to continue picking presidents media strategy now calls for spinning important issues in relation to possible Republican candidates. Example: The media thought they could pump up Rubio’s chances because he was the Gang of Eight’s point man on amnesty for illegals. That one backfired big time. AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS is already carved on Rubio’s political tombstone.

The media is going in the other direction with Mike Lee and Ted Cruz by trying to knock them out of the running by denigrating them and the issue; attempting to defund Hillarycare II. That one is backfiring, too.
Now let’s take a look at Karl Rove’s evil hand in relation to conservatives and conservatism. I’ll begin on a light note with this by Paula Helton:

“Karl Rove uses a whiteboard and marker
As he peddles his wares like a carnival barker.
The tea party knows he’s a political hack,
But the establishment lost millions as Rove they did back.
Though Fox trots him out at eight, nine and ten,
Bill, Sean and Greta can’t make Karl Rove relevant again.
Over the Republican Party he’s cast a pall,
But like Humpty Dumpty, old Karl must fall.”

Ms. Helton’s piece in Canada Free Press is more serious in the following excerpts:

Mr. Rove’s scorn toward the Tea Party and the conservative base of the Republican Party is indicative of the fear he and other RINOS have of their destructive lurch to the left coming to an end. Their newest target, Sen. Ted Cruz, terrifies the elitist big government element of the party. He has the audacity to stand with grassroots and follow through on the election promises he made to his constituents. This is not allowed in Karl Rove’s world where squishy, faux Republicans are the order of the day.

For those that may have forgotten, Rove and the GOP establishment backed David Dewhurst over Ted Cruz, Trey Grayson over Rand Paul, Bob Bennett over Mike Lee, Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio, Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey and Gerald Ford over Ronald Reagan. While bashing candidates like Christine O’Donnell, Sharon Angle and Todd Aiken, they backed those big winners, Linda McMahon, Tommy Thompson and Carly Fiorina.

Karl Rove is a political hack good at only one thing, fundraising. Karl Rove was the biggest loser of the 2012 elections. And what does the man who squandered over $300 miillion on ridiculous election ads do?

XXXXX

His quest to keep the inside the beltway Republicans in control is evident in the mission statement of his new PAC:

“to recruit seasoned candidates and protect Senate incumbents from challenges by far-right conservatives and Tea Party enthusiasts who Republican leaders worry could complicate the party’s efforts to win control of the Senate.”

Yes, by all means let’s shut down the Tea Party and Conservative voices. How dare we elect patriots like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to represent us. Rove and his “we’re all mad here” Cheshire Cats, McCain, McConnell, Graham, Corker, Alexander. etc., think they are most clever in joining the radical left in using Saul Alinsky’s twelfth Rule for Radicals, “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it”, against Senators Cruz and Lee. Unfortunately for old Karl, we “right wing radical” tea partiers have read the works of Mr. Alinsky.

There is not one solid reason for Tea Party conservatives to help Rove’s Republicans take control of anything. The past 63 years show that Republican majorities are no better for Americans than are Democrat majorities.

NOTE: The electronic media began electing presidents in 1960. Don Hewitt (1922 - 2009) of 60 Minutes fame often bragged that he elected two presidents —— JFK and Bill Clinton.

Republicans controlled both Houses of Congress for a time under Bush the Younger, yet big government Socialist incrementalism was not stopped, let alone rolled back one inch:

Karl Rove was dubbed the “architect” by his former boss, George W. Bush. He was the architect all right; laying the socialist foundation upon which Barack Hussein Obama could build. Coining the now infamous “Compassionate Conservatism” term, Karl and his boss gave us the new Medicare prescription drug entitlement expansion that will create a new unfunded liability in the coming years, No Child Left Behind, which expanded the Federal Governments control of education, the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law and attempted to force amnesty down the throats of American citizens.

If Humpty wore glasses, Karl Rove he would be

If Humpty wore glasses, Karl Rove he would be

And let’s not forget that Karl Rove’s ideal conservative, Bush the Younger, gave the country John Roberts. No matter Robert’s decisions on cases for ever after his ACA ruling he will never repair the damage he did.

Finally, if there is one message Tea Partiers should send to Rove’s Republicans in 2014 it is this: It is no longer possible for a Republican candidate to win the general election without the conservative vote. Put it this way. If the Republican party refuses to treat conservatives fairly they should not count on conservatives voting for the party no matter how much money Karl Rove raises.
