Simply raise the top tax bracket back to SANE levels and this budget deficit 'crisis' goes away, fast. During the 50's and 60's, the top rate wasn't an embarrassing 35% (down to 28% under that asshole Reagan) -- it was 91% during Eisenhower's terms, 70% during the Kennedy-Johnson-Nixon-Carter years (yeah, we all had it really rough in those days, eh?), then Reagan and he twisted little nephew GWB whacked it IN HALF.
