'Speak English' signs allowed at Philly shop

It's not illegal, but it's still pretty gross.

Speaking English or cheesesteaks?

In all seriousness, I think the Government should have a policy of only conducting business (domestically) in English. No multilingual ballots, instruction books, forms, etc.

If the business wishes to be multilingual that is great. Just as great is the guys prerogative to serve whom he wishes and how he wishes.

Why, you appear to write English well enough.

What strikes me funny is that if tehy don't speak English, they probably cannot read english either so how the heck does someone who can't read English even know what the sign says?

You know how it goes when you have to speak with someone who can't speak English, you just repeat yourself and you get louder and louder! :D

The sign is for those who can speak English, and choose not to.

It's just a conceit of the owners. It's nothing.
