    Greetings fellow winos-

Anybody with a working knowledge of Spanish reds? Recommendations for reasonably priced bottles please - or hell anything you know about any of them.

I like the big Riojas, but they are pricey. Toro has climbed up the price chart as well.

There are lesser known regions which I am willing to try, but given these are import prices am less apt to risk the purchase. Thus, I seek guidance.

    Thank you and Scole!
    Kiki

Thanks Jos. I've been reading and surfing - am getting educated. Do you like wines? I like to hear first hand experiences - sometimes there are those hidden gems out here.

Not sure that the wines we buy here in Spain will be the same brand as you can get, this wine is a crianza

I like the Concha y Toro Casillero it goes for 10.29 per bottle.
Also the Concha y Toro Marques is very good. It goes for 21.99 per bottle.

Thank you. I remember when Trader Joe's first carried these wines for half those prices. Love me some concha.

I'm not in the states either - pacific coast mexico. Am surrounded by imported reds am have just begun to get serious about identifying them finding what I like.
