Statistics office confirms Spain back in recession | Financial Headlines | Comcast

Spain confirmed Monday it was officially back in recession as the country's economy shrank 0.3 percent in the first quarter compared to the previous three months.

This is Spain's second recession in three years. The contraction follows a similar decline in the final quarter of last year. Two consecutive quarters of economic contraction constitute a technical recession
Spain is struggling after the collapse in 2008 of a property bubble that had fueled nearly a decade of solid growth. It now has 24.4 percent unemployment and a deficit of 8.5 percent as of the end of 2011, which it must reduce to 3 percent in 2013.

We will follow in Spains footsteps as soon as Obama care kicks in.....

Miguel Servet discovered the circulation of blood

Domingo de Soto, a Spanish scholastic, was the first to establish the falling of a body at constant acceleration, and his work was read by Galileo.
Domingo de Soto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jeronimo de Ajanz, patented the first steam machine a century before than the early British. He also developed working air-conditioning system at a time when people only dream of it.

Narciso Monturiol developed the most advanced submarine of its time, called Ictineo. Julius Verne was inspired by its sight to write "20.000 leagues under the sea".

Ramon y Cajal discovered the neurons.

Leonardo Torres Quevedo developed the first digital remote control, which is basically the same we use today. He also developed the first machine that really played Chess, and a thousand smaller inventions.

De la Cierva invented the autogiro, that was the first airplane that had the gear to drive the fan of modern helicopters.

Juan Roget was the earliest known maker of telescopes. He made them before the Dutch claimed they had invented it.
So now even an ignorant jewboy with a silly bomb for a hat like you know

There's nothing more fake then Israel, the fake, made-up pretend country, that lies like a big leech across Palestine

Thats right, the discovery of neurons, submarine, steam-engine...all from the 16th century...you just keep telling yourself that :eusa_whistle:

Santiago Ramón y Cajal shared the Nobel Prize for 1906 with Camillo Golgi for their work on the structure of the nervous system.

Palestine was the invented Roman name for Israel under the Roman Empire that ended 1500 years ago, uneducated motherfucker.

You see any palestine in the Bible? Nooo. Palestine in the Quran? Nooooooo Israel? 2500 times in the Bible and Quran

You and the spics are such worthless bags of shit

Biblical Historian and Scholar Dr. Paula Fredriksen, Professor of Religion, Boston University; Ph.D, History of Religion, Princeton University; Diploma in Theology, Oxford University
The Judean revolt against Rome was led by [Jewish rebel] Bar Kochba in 132-135 CE. The immediate causes of this rebellion are obscure. Its result was not: [Roman Emperor] Hadrian crushed the revolt and banned Jews from Judea.

The Romans now designated this territory by a political neologism, "Palestine" [a Latin form of "Philistine"], in a deliberate effort to denationalize Jewish/Judean territory. And, finally, Hadrian eradicated Jewish Jerusalem, erecting upon its ruins a new pagan city, Aelia Capitolina.
Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews by Paula Fredriksen - Book - Random House

PBS...
In 70 AD, after a siege marked by starvation and terror crucifixions, the Roman army broke through the walls of Jerusalem. Not only did they kill thousands of Jews, they laid waste to the Temple, the only place on Earth, according to Biblical law, where Jews could worship God.

It was the death of the religion of Priests and sacrifices described by the Hebrew Bible. But, it would not be the death of Judaism. In the years ahead, some of the greatest religious minds in history would struggle to reinvent the religion of Moses and David.

But, the Jews would be forced to work during a period of almost inconceivable bloodshed and turmoil. They would watch their people be expelled from Jerusalem on pain of death and see the name of their homeland changed from Judea to Palestine

Years of Socialist mismanagement at the national level and in several of the regions.

Actually not exactly true.

While the socialists have part of the blame, the right in Spain have a large portion of blame as well.

The regions with some of the biggest problems are actually run by the right and have been for many years.

Also the property bubble was in large part started thanks to the previous right wing government and its policies and corruption, both at a national but also regional and local level.

Oh and for the record... Spain and the UK are contracting pretty much the same over the last 6 months.. and the UKs deficit is far higher than that of Spain plus their debt is higher.. go figure.

If the spics stopped taking 18 hour siestas each day and learned to be more productive, spain might not be a bankrupt, vacuous, worthless shithole.

austerity did NOT produce what the right claimed it would produce.

why are you people pretending otherwise?

I would disagree.... to some extent. A major part of Spain's current economic woes are due to its laughably ludicrous experiment to rely completely on a 'green economy'. 100% green apparently leads to 100% in the red.

18 hour siestas doesn't help productivity especially given the spics are inferior to begin with

Please do not attempt to engage in a discussion with me. You're far too much of an idiot for me to tolerate.
