There's this itty-bitty lil legal thing called ‘probable cause’. In the NC case I believe they did have semen, right? Proven to not belong to any player but that’s beside the point. It was the probable cause when coupled with the accusation that allowed charges to be brought. So really it wasn’t just a ham sandwich, it was a ham sandwich with mayo.
