CBS News has been told that, hours after the attack began, an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Benghazi, and that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft apparently observed the final hours of the protracted battle…
But it was too late to help the Americans in Benghazi. The ambassador and three others were dead.
Retired CIA officer Gary Berntsen believes help could have come much sooner. He commanded CIA counter-terrorism missions targeting Osama bin Laden and led the team that responded after bombings of the U.S. Embassy in East Africa.
“You find a way to make this happen,” Berntsen says. “There isn’t a plan for every single engagement. Sometimes you have to be able to make adjustments. They made zero adjustments in this. They stood and they watched and our people died.”

In reality, Stevens was working with the CIA in monitoring operations in Libya where known terrorist groups aligned with the US covertly were being watched and intelligence gathered for future use. Stevens, who was also a special representative for the National Transitional Council (NTC), the US-supported terrorist faction in Libya, was also secretly collecting information on them to be used in conjunction CIA intelligence and possibly to blackmail the faction into submission to defending US interests.
Stevens was involved in arms deals with the NTC who supports the Salafi extremist movement in Saudi Arabia as well as selling weaponry to the Muslim Brotherhood. Ironically, these factions sent their men to murder Stevens at the gated-villa in Benghazi after Clinton reduced security and told the Libyan forces to stand down.
Since this attack, Clinton has been working hard to cover her tracks and involvement in creating the perfect scenario that would facilitate the attack which occurred. The State Department initially said that cryptic warnings of an impending attack on Benghazi was relayed, yet devoid of a time frame and therefore ignored.
Heaven forbid the whole country boycott elections or vote third party and throw the establishment out on its' corrupt ass. Other wise, when tax time comes around, the nation should refuse to stop paying for this nefarious B.S. in service to the elites agenda.
It's becoming clearer why they lied. Had it been a group of protesters who suddenly went crazy, there wouldn't have been time to save Stevens and the other three. There would have been no warning. It turns out that threats had been made and there have been many attacks in the area for months. Our intel had to know that al Qaeda was behind them long before the deadly attack in Benghazi, assuming they bothered to investigate the attacks in the past six months. I think they knew.
al Qaeda wasn't supposed to be heard from again, at least not so soon. Right up until the latest attacks, Obama was talking about how he had disabled the terrorist group. If requests for more security had been granted or if our people had been pulled out of Libya, questions would have been asked. The administration would have had to admit that al Qaeda was alive and well. If we had moved in right away to stop the violence, the press might actually have wondered why we would get involved with Libyan protesters. No investigation right away either, not for two weeks after the attacks, and only after media went in and found the diary of Chris Stevens.
The stories coming from the administration have changed according to the evidence that has come out. There is no spinning their way out of this one.

CIA documents supported Susan Rices description of Benghazi attacks

The Romney campaign may have misfired with its suggestion that statements by President Obama and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice about the Benghazi attack last month werent supported by intelligence, according to documents provided by a senior U.S. intelligence official.
Talking points prepared by the CIA on Sept. 15, the same day that Rice taped three television appearances, support her description of the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate as a reaction to Arab anger about an anti-Muslim video prepared in the United States. According to the CIA account, The currently available information suggests that the demonstrations in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and evolved into a direct assault against the U.S. Consulate and subsequently its annex. There are indications that extremists participated in the violent demonstrations.

The claims raised fresh questions about when exactly Mr Obama learned that the storming of the consulate was a terrorist event, as senior Republicans continued to accuse him of misleading the public over the attacks in order to protect his record on neutralising al-Qaeda.
As the US general election enters its final weeks, the Benghazi incident has become an increasingly charged political issue ahead of Monday's last presidential debate, which will focus exclusively on foreign policy.
Mr Obama defended his record on Benghazi during an appearance on the acerbic current affairs comedy programme, The Daily Show, pledging to get to the bottom of what happened and hold those responsible.
However his pledge to track down those responsible for killing Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans was contrasted by a report from Benghazi that one of the alleged ring leaders in the attacks was openly mocking both the Libyan and US governments.
Ahmed Abu Khattala, who has been linked to the militia group Ansar al-Shariah gave a two-hour interview to the New York Times at a luxury hotel, in which sipped a strawberry frappé while boasting no one had questioned him over the attacks and that he had no plans to go into hiding.

WASHINGTON (AP) The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month's deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam's Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press.
It is unclear who, if anyone, saw the cable outside the CIA at that point and how high up in the agency the information went. The Obama administration maintained publicly for a week that the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans was a result of the mobs that staged less-deadly protests across the Muslim world around the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the U.S.
Those statements have become highly charged political fodder as the presidential election approaches. A Republican-led House committee questioned State Department officials for hours about what GOP lawmakers said was lax security at the consulate, given the growth of extremist Islamic militants in North Africa.
