Sounds like Kent State all over again

only the fact thats what i have been talking about in this thread moron. Nice punt

Oh, well, I'd suggest you take your points to threads on The Boston Tea Party and Executive Orders respectively.

Let me know how it works out for you.

:eusa_drool:

you are a moron...Prove you wrong and you deflect like the lying child you are

All you've proved is your inability to follow along with a simple premise. Go take your Adderall.

The OWS should be left alone. Cordon them off to protect the public and leave them be. In Denver the OWS is complaining about the foot of snow they are expecting. As if all they need to save their lives is capitulation. Leave them be.

Really? And what about the rights of the SMALL business owners who they are negativity impacting? What about the rights of the people who want to use the park but cant?

Fuck them.

If you remove them they will fight probably destroying those small businesses. They will come back. If you leave them alone, the cold, disease, urban predators will force them to leave on their own and they won't come back. They live in filth. Already hypothermia, bronchitis, rapes and thefts have forced some out. They are one good communicable disease away from abandoning the property. The only thing I oppose are police resources protecting them. The police should be out protecting the people who pay their salaries, not worthless scum. Not only that, but it's a good object lesson of what it would really look like with liberal democrats in charge.

No it isn't. The right to peacefully protest does not include the right to do whatever the fuck you want, wherever the fuck you want and the other 99.9999999999999999999% of the population just have to deal with it for as long as you want to do it.

And you fail to mention the riot gear was in response to the"peaceful" protesters throwing bottles.
Says the police.

yeah...those evil lying union members....you know...the police.
Get a life Ravi...the whole world is not out to fuck you.
Just you are.

These hypocrites are the first ones to use the cops for justification when wanting to burn through a few million bucks, but throw them under the bus whenever they can to justify their insolence.

For real.

What an utter retard.

SO I am curious....do you believe the protesters were orderly and within the boundaries set forth and the police simply decided to gas them?

That's exactly what they believe... reality doesn't make it's way into their world very often.

and with all of the reporters and all of the cell phone videos......they are not able to come upo with any video of the protesters and what they were doing BEFORE the police acted....all they have is video of the police acting.

Pathetic how these protesters want to ruin the career of a police officer just so they can meet their agenda.

Mean while the general public who also have a right to use the property have to have there rights infringed by thees guys, and deal with the unsanitary conditions, and disease ? Na, its cheaper to just have the cops move them out. Its what they are trained to do.

Hannity has an ongoing offer of $100,000 for video evidence of ANY racist or violent actions at a Tea Party event.... still nothing.

The occupiers are out of jail in Atlanta, they're vowing to make a return appearance. I don't think the judge will be as kind to them a second time. :)

the right to protest is being taken away in this country

No one is infringing on the right to "Peacfully assemble" as granted by the first ammendment.

And you accuse the rightwingnuts of going off the deep end..... Kent State, Really?

Good luck with your trollbait

nitpick here, yes they are taking it away. Now you have protest Zones that are miles away from events. while you do have the right to protest, you do it where you are allowed to now.

The laws on the books say that gatherings must be permitted now. I think the OWS people should take their energy to their perspective statehouses and try to get those laws changed with their passion!

why do you hate freedom?

Rioting and illegal behavior is freedom now?

Oh how our Founders would mourn.
Our founders would laugh at your sanctimonious horseshit.

The founders are the ones who preceded assemble with peacful in the constitution.

Maybe the Boston Massacre had something to do with the value that assemblies by the people to express grievences must be peaceful ;) (not that i read the federalist papers ;))

Organizers had instructed participants to be peaceful if arrests came, and most were. Many gathered in the center of the park, locking arms, and sang We Shall Overcome until police led them out, one-by-one to waiting buses. Some were dragged out while others left on foot, handcuffed with plastic ties.

Oakland was less peaceful. Police fired tear gas and beanbag rounds as they cleared out the makeshift city Tuesday. After nightfall, protesters gathered at a downtown library and began marching toward City Hall in an attempt to re-establish a presence in the area of the disbanded camp.

They were met by police in riot gear. Officers cleared the area by firing tear gas over a roughly three-hour stretch of evening scuffles.

Police, protesters clash in Atlanta, Oakland

Imagine if that dude was a republican governor and not a democrat governor.... OH THE TALKING POINTS!!!!! :lmao:

Fer Real!! Kasim Reed is a reasonable man. He's doing a pretty good job in Atlanta.

This is sad but you Socialist/Progressive Democrats better put the blame where it belongs. These are your own fellow Democrats cracking down on these protests. So we better not hear your BOOOOOOOSH chit this time around. Take this up with your Democrats.

ROFLMAO

which of course we know are all part of the vast Right wing Conspiracy.

You people are out of your minds. None of us have the right to go Pitch a fucking tent in a public Space and occupy it at will. Yes you have the right to Protest, and assemble. You do not have the right to infringe on everyone's use of a Public Space indefinitely with out any kind of Permits at all.

There is nothing surprising about what happened, and I am 100% sure there was rock and Bottle Throwing going on. Because that is where this has been heading since the Beginning. That is where it always goes when a bunch of Far left Protestors have some Demands they want met.

What is funny to me is some on the left seem to be trying to blame this on Republicans. lol. Cops in a Democrat City, in a Democrat State cracked down on A Bunch of Protestors who over stayed their welcome. Get over it.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
