It's the left playing on emotions. They convince minorities that racists are around every corner and out to get them despite no evidence.

They claim that concerns over Islamic terror is emotion-based despite stats showing most terrorist attacks are carried out by Muslims.

They claim Muslims are discriminated against more than others and claim it's due to Islamophobia but don't mention that more Jews are victims of hate crimes each year than Muslims are over a longer period.

They claim that wealthy people hate poor people. They convince people that it's more benevolent to keep them down on government programs than to take the more difficult road of self dependence. Emotions beat logic.

It's the left engaging in class and race warfare and they do so by making people feel like they are victims of other groups.

Demagoguery is very common in politics both sides do it and have been for many, many years and very have an issue with it when their side is the one doing it.
