Only if you hate your kid. If he wants to, and you have a vet do it, it might be OK for both of you to pet the dog as it goes to sleep, but it would just be cruel to make him watch a bullet in the head

Sorry to hear that. Leave the kid out of it unless of course it is HIS idea and desire to attend. Kids grow up fast enough as it is.
