Japan isnt going to like nukes in North Korea.
It wouldnt be a bad idea for Japan to mobilize an army of some type and have joint trainig exercises with South Korea,,we"d at least then have a 400,000(some us back up) highly supplied and trained thwarting force there.And a few carriers and a sub for kicks-n-giggles.
We dont want them getting gung ho on us there.

I agree, Will.

Japan really should have an active military with offensive capabilities, as far as the USA is concerned. With the advent of the UN, Japan isn't the threat that it once was. Plus, we imposed a democracy there, much the same as we're implementing right now in Iraq. Democratic governments historically do not tolerate acts of aggression unless it's justified. Even then it's a shaky thing, nods to the clueless idiots around America and Western Europe. France should be nuked, but that's a subject for another thread.

It's not spoken of, but I would bet my bottom dollar that there ARE nukes in Japan in our military bases there. I don't know this for a fact, but it just stands to reason.
