As most of you know I predicted the bottom of the fall in March. As you have the right to say, that was just luck. Perhaps it was. I will not contest it.

Just the same, I feel a tremendous sense in Ill-Ease about the coming weeks in April.

I come from a family of clairvoyants. My Great great grandaunt worked with the police of Illinois and Wisconsin to help them diagnose crimes. She was famous for telling the police to go to a log on the southwest corner of a lake in Wisconsin and there they would find the body of a child who had died on a family outing.

Now, I know to the cynics that has no value, but the police used her to lead them to over half a hundred criminal cases that were closed over the years that followed.

If I have inherited that ability, something BIG is going to happen in the next few days/weeks. Whatever it is, will impact the economy tremendously. I only suggest that you invest cautiously.

I am afraid for the near future. It does not bode well for investors. Be safe in all that you do.

Major US Banks Masked Risk Levels: Report

Major U.S. banks temporarily lowered their debt levels just before reporting in the past five quarters, making it appear their balance sheets were less risky, the Wall Street Journal said, citing data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

The paper said on Friday 18 banks, including Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE:GS - News), Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS - News), J.P. Morgan Chase (NYSE:JPM - News) Bank of America (NYSE:BAC - News) and Citigroup (NYSE:C - News), understated the debt levels used to fund securities trades by lowering them an average of 42 percent at the end of each period.

The banks had increased their debt in the middle of successive quarters, it said.

I mean come on!

These masters of our economic universe are LYING to the public about the books.

If that isn't foreshadowing trying times ahead, I don't know what it's going to take to wake investors (and the general public) up.

They're LYING to us.

I hauled ass out of there in 2005, walking away from two businesses netting me 400 grand a year.
I'm not clairvoyant.
I have the ability to read a scenario and figure the outcome of the actions taken.
I was 200% right in my move.
I also saw the Euro scam. I bought at 118 and got out at 144.
I saved this post.

Now, that said, I do not know the future, so I can not tell you what awaits. All I have is a growing sense of ill-ease. Hopefully, nothing will come from it and everything will be wonderful, and I will have been wrong, or what I was sensing did not come to pass for whatever reason. I just have this feeling that something is wrong, but I do know know what it is. You might say that the balance between good and evil is shifting towards evil. I can feel that, but I do not know what it is.

If we were in the Star Wars movie, I'd say that the Dark Side of the Force is growing in strength. We will become more aware in the next two weeks just what it is that is growing that is foreboding and malevolent.

I linked to it previously on this forum. It was on God Like Productions. I called the day it had hit bottom and posted it for the benefit of all. I went long that day, but continued to warn people that the V shaped recovery they were all expecting would not happen.

I agree with the 'star wars' analogy, the dark forces are at work and new revelations are to come I fear. I think many of us are bracing for the unsettling side-effects from the nonsense in Washington D.C. leadership.

Truck Drivers always used to have two sets of books. Not much was ever made of that for the longest time. Banks, on the other hand are supposed to be honest and forthright. Right?

Oops, I forgot, honesty and banks appear to be non-compatible now-a-days.

The solvency of banks issue is a good one. Remember, you can carry non performing debt on your books for as long as you want and not declare it as non performing. Because of that, insolvency is a new variable to banking. For the most part, a bank is not insolvent if it doesn't admit to being insolvent. That can go on for the longest time.
