That's a good idea and I do that sometimes but sometimes it's a PITA to do that, depending on how long the other posts are or how many there are, and if you are in a heated discussion, who has the time to do that? Then you might lose your train of thought!

Just highlight the text you want to respond to and use the add quote function. No pain.

It is though when you lack patience. Do you think I got 70,000 posts by posting carefully and taking my time? Hell no! I post like a maniac.

It is easier if you can get in the habit of doing it. You can double your post count in no time.
