2. The hurricane that hit Puerto Rico was a Cat 4 hurricane. Florida and Texas did not get hit nearly as hard as Puerto Rico. The electric grid was completely destroyed. Communications on the island were all but destroyed.
3. The federal government has assets that can be useful in a disaster of this magnitude.

When you have devastation of this size the federal government should be the first responder. Do you object because Puerto Ricans are not white?

The people of Puerto Rico pay no income taxes to the US. They contribute nothing toward for federal aid to anyone else for any other hurricane, disaster, or highway project. Also, the federal government spends more money on Puerto Rico than another other state, net contributions. The only welfare case more costly to the US, on the planet, than Puerto Rico is Israel.

We should cut Puerto Rico loose, or make them part of Florida. Let them vote on it. But, the US is being raped by those hispanics.
