For all you sports fans out there George Michael, one of the original pioneers of network sports shows and a legend amongst athletes and sports fans alike, died today at age 70 after fighting a 2 year bout with leukemia.
Most will know him from the Sports Machine but us local DC folks know him as the sports anchor on Channel 4 News.
