The conductor in the video you posted is Valery Gergiev, the main conductor of world wide known St Petersburg Marrinsky theater of Opera and Ballet. A couple of years ago his orchestra went to deliberated Palmyra (Syria) and gave a concert in a place surrounded by ISIS.
