Hopefully that pain goes away soon. From the pics you can see it is healing, thank goodness! It looks so much better than from your other pictures. I know it may not feel that way, but it does.
I’ve heard a pressure wrap is thought to help to reduce scarring, as well as swelling.
Your pain tolerance has been amazing, in my opinion. And your upbeat attitude is helping you heal. Let us know how the pressure wrap goes.

I'm okay, thanks for asking. I went yesterday morning to get the mepilex and santyl reapplied and they rebandanged me.

Thing is, though, she gave me a really good scrub. A deep scrub. It's hurting pretty good right now in the worst spot but she said it'll be okay in a couple of days.

I think they almost have all of the dead tissue scratched off over the last few weeks of going up there on Mondays. Now it's down to just the wounds themselves, no litter around or left over. I'm getting a pressure wrap on next Thursday, dunno what that is, and I forgot to ask her what it was.

Other than that, I've been walking the tread and skipping a little bit of rope here and there, no pain at all over the last week until she got the scrubber out. Ha.

Here's a couple of pics I took yesterday, they're kind of graphic, though, so. I looks worse than it actually is, like I said, I haven't been hurting up untl the yesterday when she scrubbed it.

Sh*t that hurts to just look at, never mind imagining some nurse playin' scrub-a-dub NC,,,,,'effin A.....did you know i escaped from them all once? well i did, back when i was a wee lad some buick driver decided to give me some flying lessons, i did a good 100 ft before a bad landing. So anyways, they put me in a cast from mid chest on down both legs for months, rather constraining,especially for basic bodily functions....

When they finally released me from bondage i was a jellyfish , muscle emaciates fast you see, and then it was onto the PT nurses.....you do know they're ALL nazi nurses that've been hiding out since WW2 right?

Yep, Hitler went to the south pole, but Dr Mengele and his brood all set up camp in the USofA . They ran me through this gymnasitc bullsh*t 3 times a day ,with nothing but that awful hosiptal food, f*ckin' jello and broccoli ....

Back then they set us up in wooden weelchairs , big as buicks , but i managed to coerce another youngster into manning the elevator down and lit on outta the place

They caught me bookin' across the parking lot , and summarilly sentenced me to high security confinement with those patients that talk to themselves all night long

Beware Nat one , that 'master race look' they all have is a very cultivated thing....
