Some activist help please concerning Obama propoganda

Of course all of you hacks would be the ones bitching and complaining if it was a Bush video. LOL

Way to go Mike. I'm gonna drop by my local Office Depot and see if they are doing the same thing. And if they are, I will also complain to the store manager, assistant manager and anyone else I can "PISS OFF". If it's there, I'll not only call the corporate office, I'll paste the phone number on my facebook page and watch it explode through that community.

I could have cared less if there was a Bush movie. I tend to not let stupid shit like that get to me.

Maybe 3 will take his advice and boycott OfficeDepotMaxDunderMiflin, then his job is done.

You don't know me very well do you?

Again... people sell things they think others will buy. If Home Depot feels that selling "Obama videos" (whatever the Hell those may be) that's not home Depot's problem, that's the people who buy the video's problem. We live in a seriously bored and possibly semi-retarded society if those videos sell well enough for Home Depot to put them on display in the front of their stores. But that's societies problem. Home Depot's job is to make money, not to tend to your silly little complaints and hurt feelings. That goes for Bush and Obama.

yes..you're right...I don't know you...so if you put yourself in the hack category, that's on you...but it helps me know you a little better. And yes...it's their job to make money...but they need my money to buy the things that put on the shelves and I'm not gonna keep giving them money to do that with. Just as the retail market has seemed to cave to the anti-Christmas crowd, if enough people make enough noise, then maybe they will show some respect to those of us who are offended by their support of this administration.

What makes you think "they" support this administration?

Note to self:

A right winger was the first one to bring up

Booooooooooooooooooooooooosh!

:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

What the Hell ever happened to free press and capitalism? Shit, did they force you to buy the video? If they didn't don't be such a damn cry baby. I swear these damn conservatives are as soft as cotton.

Get over it. Move on.

I don't like High School Musical being sold all over Walmart, you know what I do... I walk the other direction when I see it.

Damn if it's that bad that you can't stand going to Home Depot, go to Lowes.

I swear the people screaming the most about "freedom" and "socialism" are the most fascist socialist people you'll ever meet.

Care to define that?

And as I said, if it were a Bush video, there'd be blood on the floors....

By the way...pay more attention...it's OFFICE DEPOT...not HOME DEPOT.

Oh bullshit. That's a really easy way to get out of fascism huh? Well the other side did it. So I have a right to do it too. It's wrong when they do it, and it's wrong when the right does it. That's why shit never changes in this country, we're all a bunch of whining cry babies complain about shit's not fair. I took the liberals on when they cried about the court ruling regarding the corporations having free speech rights, rightist don't get special treatment.

And Office Depot/Home Depot... regardless, go to Staples.

Whoa there...I didn't say anybody DID it...I said they WOULD be doing it. It points out the two faced battle that comes up everytime the right voices it's opinion.

I'm surprised that we haven't heard some 4th grade response like "WE WON..YOU LOST...GET OVER IT" yet.

Again, I'll ask you to define your claim that I'm a fascist. Because I agree with a boycott request, I'm somehow a fascist? OK...then I know a SHITLOAD of fascist liberals.

I do too.

Fact is your thinking behind this is to silence the other side. My "boycotting" goes as far as I don't buy things I don't like. It's really THAT simple. Office Depot was doing business. They were selling a video. If people didn't buy videos like that, nobody would sell them, but they do (for whatever reason), so Home Depot decided to make money off of it. That's called business. They don't support Obama. If Bush videos made money then they'd be selling those I'm sure. If not they're business is probably run by idiots anyway and they'll go out of business soon enough. That's how the world works.

Ohhh...I don't know..........hmmmmm....let me think...... Oh...maybe it's the selling of political propaganda with BO's face on the cover.

I would love to see some Palin books on the shelves........but I won't hold my breathe.

And as I sit here thinking about it, if they're interested in making money, why would they sell something that not EVERYONE would want to buy? Everybody needs copy paper... pencils, pens, legal pads, staplers....you get the point. But...Obama videos...not so much.

wow...the level of surface thinking here astounds me. Lemme guess...you're one of those that doesn't boycott ANYTHING because you're not going to make a big enough difference. You should really think outside your shell. It's pretty cool to consider possibilities.

Again, if they sell... somebody is going to sell them. Sarah Palin's book was on display in a Target I went to on the Eastern Shore. I guess because people like buying the book. If Sarah Palin puts her face on the cover of her book does that make it "political propaganda"? If it does so be it. But truth be told if I own a store and I see that Sarah Palin's book sells to the demographic that comes into my store, I'm going to sell me some Sarah Palin books.

I was in Office Depot, buying some stuff. Right where you pay they are selling an Obama propoganda movie.

I complained to the cashier, then the assistant store manager. The store manager was in a meeting.

The assistant store manager said this descision was made by corporate.

My arguement is that this is an office supply store, it shouldn't be promoting a particular politician. And if it does, I would have a hard time giving them business.

They have a right to do it, and I have a right to not shop there, and to tell them clearly why.

In any case I asked for the corporate contact information to complain to them.

I would like to ask some help in telling Office Depot that we don't appreciate them promoting a particular ideology and politician.

The number for Office Depot Corporate Customer Service is 561-438-4800, the email is [email protected]

Thank you

Waaaaa, I don't like something so I'm going to complain about it. Don't buy it then, simple solution

Bingo, the petty shit people bitch and complain about and get mad at is unreal.

Great...I agree...but do you think that same Target sells Obama books too? Probably. Just sayin...balance is good. It covers all your bases....thus giving you the chance to make MORE money.

I don't boycott anything, but I also don't buy something if I don't want it/like it. It's called "Free Will"-my choice to do what I want. Just like crappy t.v. shows I don't watch, or books written by hacks I don't read. But I respect your right to watch/read/buy them.

See how that works? Do you really need someone to tell you what you don't need to do/buy/read/watch, or where to shop?

Actually call or email the corporate office. They are the ones who make these decisions.

We know that if it was a pro Pres. Bush video up there where the cashier was the left would be screaming.
