Certainly it would seem like nonsense to a person who has never worked for an electrical utility and has proven that their research skills does not go beyond the first page of a google search.

It USED to be easy to call up production statistics on Wind Farms about 15 or 20 years ago. Today -- that daily/monthly production data is largely hidden in the US.. BECAUSE -- it was embarrassing. It showed exactly how unreliable and sketchy production was. But it's a generally accepted figure that the PRODUCTION Capacity of a fairly new wind turbine is about 30 to 35% of the INSTALLED capacity. And that the average statistics show virtually no generation typically for over 100 days out of the year..

So Elecktra was just trying to get you to acknowledge that INSTALLED capacity doesn't mean that's what get produced over a year averaging. OR that production is anywhere NEAR constant or reliable..
