$300 at a good salon for the services she got is pretty normal actually. The salon I go to for example charges $65 just for the basic haircut/trim. If I get highlights, lowlights, babylights or anything else like that you can easily add another $100 to $200 depending on the service. You can find cheaper but if you end up not liking the results or quality that you got then you will spend more later trying to fix it.

She does make a point in her platform to highlight wage and income disparity in this country, so yes I would agree that on the surface it can look hypocritical in that regard. I would say though that she doesn't necessarily push for everybody to live identically in wealth or identically in poverty but just that the disparity in this country is real and a problem.
