    Gee!......

Now that Socialism has collapsed in Europe.....does that mean they are going to get rid of their universal healthcare?

Shocking that parties which are in power would lose elections during an economic downturn.

Also interesting to point out the article undermines it's own premise...

So, in effect, they've won by running as "competent socialists".

European countries have always suffered from the effects of socialism. Typically, they implement socialistic policies, border on the brink of bankruptcy, enact free market reforms which save the day for a few years, and then go back to their socialistic policies which will eventually lead to bankruptcy again. It's a vicious cycle.

Do the cons really not realize that Bush and team fucked the entire world with their "ignore all regulations" way of doing business?

Bush and them are responsible for the world wide down turn.

For those wanting to talk about the rise of European conservatism, the parties most similar to American conservatives (NPD and REP) together pulled a whopping 1.9% of the vote.
