Totalitarian government was the norm throughout mankind’s history. For the first time in history the US Constitution serendipitously designated totalitarian government a conspiracy.
In practice, totalitarian government did not become a hostile plot until the early part of the 20th century when Socialists joined together in a united effort. I firmly believe they were united by the XVI Amendment. Basically, the Socialist conspiracy would have remained just another crackpot conspiracy theory had it not been funded by the Income Tax Amendment.
Unfortunately, from the beginning there were so many totalitarian-minded fools involved in turning America into a collectivist society their totalitarian conspiracy went unnoticed by the majority. Even today, most Americans do not call the Democrat party’s sympathies a conspiracy. Indeed, every policy Democrats/Socialists put through incrementally can only be called a conspiracy —— separately and in the aggregate. Example: If you analyze the effects of open-borders, and the Affordable Care Act, as two distinct policies it is easy to overlook the fundamental conspiracy. There are many, many, more collectivist policies in place, but every one of them is an essential part of a single totalitarian conspiracy.
NOTE: Hillary Clinton was always a willing contributor to the totalitarian conspiracy, but it took a while for her to finally grasp Socialist incrementalism:
Regardless of the Constitution, laws, and the will of the majority, Socialists/Communists cleverly labeled freedom-loving Americans conspiracy theorists. A trillion words were written attempting to define totalitarian government in relation to America’s unique form of government, while paraphrasing Sigmund Freud says it all in ten words: “Sometimes a totalitarian government is just a totalitarian government.”

In 1993, Hillary chaired the Task Force on National Health Care Reform. After months of meeting with families & health care professionals, the Task Force recommended the Health Care Security Act of 1994. “I am disappointed we were not able to make more progress.” Hillary said. “Now I’m from the school of smaller steps, but I believe we must continue to make progress. It’s still important that we increase access to quality health care for working families.”
