The dead naked body of a nurse washes up on the beach one day. How, you ask, do we know it is a nurse? Because she has an empty stomach, a full bladder, and her butt's been chewed! :eek:
 
I started my working life as an Army medic and ended up spending aprox. 40 years in nursing and related fields. That was never what I intended. I was just was doing that until I figured out what I actually wanted to do with my life. Odd how things work out. I find now that I have some pride in where I've been and what I've done and the hardships overcome in the doing. I am shocked crosseyed to find that (in general) i am pleased things worked out as they did.
 
I can't believe the flippant attitudes from some of our posters here on Nurses. They are the life blood of the medical field. They are true professionals that deserve all the respect and credit due them.

I come from a family of nurses. My mother was an RN, my sister has a Master's in Nursing, My wife is an RN.
