I've seen a whole lot of people refused various treatments that their private health insurance didn't cover. How exactly will a National Health Care system, which is not interested in profits, be any worse in this respect? And it could in fact be better.

How much would a private insurance plan cost if it "covers your every need"? I would think it would be an astronomical amount. But hey, under the Obama plan, you would be free to choose to get that ridiculously expensive private care plan, now wouldn't you? After all, he's just suggesting a public option, now isn't he?

OR, you could just go to the town hall meetings in YOUR DISTRICT and ask questions like everyone else. Then you VOTE. That's what elections are for.

This is what the main stream media and people, I guess, like you fail to understand. These ARE people going to meetings in THEIR districts. The politicians are deluding themselves by claiming that it's "outside" interference. Ordinary average people are beyond angry and have moved into furious and pols too stupid to realize that will find their jobs gone in 2010. As our Congressman just reminded us, there are over 700,000 people in Tennessee's 6th district. What do you think the odds are that at least a few hundred of them are pissed enough to attend a townhall?
