So we almost lost Sam :(

Yes, they are a long-lived bunch.

They have to be...who on earth would get a SECOND terrier, lol? After having one, most people have no desire to return for another...so it's in their best interests to live forever.

Ok, I'm joking. I know that's not true...but they do make life interesting.

Ha ha! Actually, we do have another terrier mix that we got a year ago at the human society. My daughter and i went there to see a couple chihuaua's that they advertised, of course they were gone. So we looked around and found this little reddish/brown dog....soooo cute, and her name was "Tinker". Believe it or now, that was my maiden name! So of course it was a "sign" and we had to take her! Lol! The card on her cage said she was a Jack Russell....but i'd never seen a Jack Russell that was all reddish/brown. Found out she's mixed with a Papillon. It's also called a butterfly dog! They have big ears that stand up straight...some have a lot of long hair on their ears. Tinker's a pretty short haired dog, but her ears are quite big! And she's just adorable!!!
