I've been scoffed at for saying this, but I stand by it:
It's not like it was fifty years ago, when the two parties differed on the means of doing things, but generally agreed that America was an ideal worth preserving. Conservatism and liberalism are diametrically opposed; they cannot and will not co-exist. This judiciary battle will determine the direction this nation takes for the next generation. Liberalism has been roundly and completely rejected in any forum where the American electorate has a say-so; its last, tenuous hold on power is the judiciary.
Tyrants do not go gently into that good night, nor do they relinquish power without a struggle. This is - most assuredly - an ideological fight to the death.
