Progressive is not necessarily bad, or even stupid. My problem with progressives is that they tend to ignore history.

As for conservatives, they are not necessarily good, or smart. My problem with conservatives is they tend to ignore progress.

How is taxing people more based on the fact that they earn more progressive? How is a sales tax, which affects poor people more than it does rich people, progressive? How are taxes either progressive or regressive in the fist fucking place? Taxes are taxes, and they should not reflect political belief or policy, they should simply be used to obtain revenue for the government, and nothing more.

"Progressive" is a worthless rhetorical device morons use to reassure themselves that their position is inherently superior when, in fact, it may not be. Just like many other political buzz words.

While I don't use it as a lable, the "Progressive" interpretation of the constitution is opposed to the "Conservative" interpretation. The latter "conserving" the original intent, and literal meaning, and the former "progressing" the interpretation to meet more contemporary social norms.

They just forgot one little thing; it has failed every single time it has been implemented. It has failed as political hierarchy Cuba, Russia, Ethiopia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, USSR, Vietnam, Korea, Cambodia, Angola, Albania, etc. It has failed domestically within agencies like DOJ, Dept of Education, Dept, of Agriculture.
