So Let's Get This Shit Straight.

I applaud those women that can stay at home and raise their children. Just as I applaud men that can stay at home and raise their children. It is well worth the sacrifice. Unfortunately for Romney, 68% of mothers work outside the home. 50% of marriages dissolve. Offering economic opinions to these women from one that hasn't participated in the labor force is clueless at best and insulting at worst.

And until recently, women thought that contraception was a non-issue. Keep trying to make it increasingly difficult for women to obtain said contraception by killing Planned Parenthood and carving out exemptions for insurance companies and employers and it will become an issue.

Gay or straight, stay at home mothering is a luxury that only the wealthy can afford.

Bullshit.

People of modest means do it all the time. But you lefty libbies don't want to hear that it takes commitment sacrifice and planning to do.

"Commitment, Sacrifice and Planning" are a trio of things that Liberals have determined are not possible to group together.

People who endorse the practice of using "commitment, sacrifice and planning" are said to be mean-spirited, racist and homophobe.

It never really occurred to me before, but that is the thread that connects most of the targets that the left tries to bring down.

Sex is either Recreational or procreational.

If I don't want to pay for someone else's contraception, but don't care one way or the other if they use it, how does that limit access?

Should I also be paying for their toys and lube and whatever else they want to use for recreation?

So it must really bother you that 40% of insurance plans cover Viagra.

You know what? Thanks to LIBERAL policies, my partner gets to be a stay at home Mom. If it wasn't for the liberal policy that requires my partner be treated EXACTLY like a heterosexual partner so she can get health insurance through MY employer, she would have to work just for fucking health insurance.

Just another reason to "thank a liberal".

I wonder, do the left know that the "stay at home mom" occurs in many families that are not considered rich?

The Housewife is not a luxury afforded to wealthy families. It can even be seen as way of life. A traditional way of life for Western cultures!

I too was a stay at home mom until my son was in his teens. The left forgot that many women interrupt careers to be stay at home moms and make sacrifices to do it. I'm not going to correct democrats by telling them not all women who choose to stay home and raise their children are rich. I'm enjoying the backlash too much. For years, there hasn't only been stay at home moms but stay at home dads when the wife is the major breadwinner. obama has also insulted all those men too. That's why all the arguments have failed ane Rosen has to, belatedly, drag out the lesbian card. Except for one thing, not that many people knew she was a lesbian before she declared herself an idiot.

Gay or straight, stay at home mothering is a luxury that only the wealthy can afford.

As with every other issue they have talked about, the Romneys are clueless. Neither have ever had to live in the real world. That's okay. I mean who really cares about their car elevator or their horses. But they have no right to pretend to have first hand knowledge about things they've never experienced.

And you rws just look silly rushing to their defense. You do realize, don't you that they won't do the same for you unless you're all multi, multi, MULTI millionaires.

Get a clue. You work for them - Not the other way around. You would do well to remember that.

Oh really? Then by the same logic, what did Teddy Kennedy KNOW???

Blindly throwing money at problems is an emotional trap that can perpetuate the problem rather than solve the problem... Mitt is a problem solver who understands exactly where the rubber meets the road as he has not lived his entire life aloft in some public perch. Lifetime politicians are the ones completely out of touch...

Before liberal policies hammered the economy and social policies destroyed the family, most of us had parents (yes two of them, a mom and dad) with Mom staying home and taking care of the family. It will be a hard time convincing those people that they were rich and mom had servants.

The democrat attack on working mothers failed so badly for the reason that it forced people to examine women who didn't work outside the home. How many chose to temporarily step back from successful careers, how many had mothers that didn't work outside the home. How many families that just accepted a lower standard of living instead of day care.

Democrats intended this to be a tool of class warfare, the rich against the poor. It never was about the rich. It was always about being a mother. That's why it failed so badly. Everyone saw this ploy for exactly what it was. Another gimmick. Another manufactured outrage. This is not going to be a democratic talking point.

It has already been lost in the tsumani of obama's failed foreign policy and secret service scandals.

Mitt Romney

"I’ve had an unusual experience. This gentleman wanted to talk about the doctrines of my religion. I’ll talk about the practices of my faith. I had the occasion in my church to be asked to be the pastor, if you will, of a congregation,” Romney said. “I’ve served in that kind of role for about 10 years. And that gave me the occasion to work with people on a very personal basis that were dealing with unemployment, with marital difficulties, with health difficulties of their own and with their kids

Most Americans, by the way, are carrying a burden of some kind. We don’t see it, we see someone on the street, they smile and say ‘Hello,’ but behind them they are carrying a bag of rocks. It may be their own health difficulties. It may be concern about a job, it may be inability to pay for the home or the college they were hoping to pay for for a child. But people have burdens in this country, and when you get a chance to know people on a very personal basis, whether you’re serving as a pastor or as a counselor or in other kinds of roles, you understand that every kind of person you see is facing some challenges. And one of the reasons I’m running for president of the United States is I want to help people, I want to lighten those burdens."

Gay or straight, stay at home mothering is a luxury that only the wealthy can afford.

That is a patently false statement. I know several families with stay at home mothers and they are mostly middle class.

Mrs. Romney ain't one of them. She is a multi multi millionaire who never worked a day in her life. Period.

Why do you think multi multi millionaires would even WANT to take this course to become president? Why wouldn't they just go on and live their richy rich lives...?

Did you know the Obamas were not multimillionaires UNTIL they decided to take this course...? Hmm really makes you wonder about what really motivates people...

Well, for Romney I think it would include the nice little tax break he wants to give the wealthy like himself...so they can put more money into Swiss Bank Accounts and the Cayman Islands. (just like he did)

but you're okay with obama taking tax breaks I assume.
