So, if everyone has to have health insurance, can we get rid of car insurance?

If everyone has health insurance, then there's no real necessity for car insurance anymore, right? Everyone's potential hospital bills will be taken care of, so the only reason to insure your car is for damages to your car itself, right?

I doubt my health care provider would be willing to pay my hospital bills if someone else hit me, they'd probably expect the other party's provider to cover it....or if I was driving recklessly....you know how insurance companies can be.

Car insurance is for liability genius.

Sure, but what does it cover? Seems like we're now going to be seeing double coverage.
