So I was considering buying a tablet. Any advice?

What about the iPad not having flash? Just today I couldn't access some material online on my iPhone from work. Ever an issue?

I'm waiting for the release of this with windows 8.

I like the keyboard. I hate typing on a tablet but when you add a keyboard, why not just get a laptop.

Yep. Didn't see this post before I made that last one.

No flash for Apple bro. As I understand it, it was about porn and Jobs not wanting it accessible on his products.

That is not what I heard or read....I believe that Steve Jobs didn't like Flash for the Ipad because he believed it was unstable technology, with sluggish performance, and had the potential to drain the battery very quickly. He also saw it as a potential back door for viruses and other nasty stuff.

Apple is extremely protective of all the apps that goes on the IPad. Android is a free-for-all platform so you take the good with the bad (viruses included). I for one am quite happy that Apple have kept it a closed platform - no need to worry about viruses or other threats...

that being said- you can view flash in the IPad and IPhone...

How many laymen are going to go through that process? And doesn't this void warranties?

You download an app....it's pretty easy.

Ok I see. And $5 for the subscription. Seems reasonable enough.
