So I Am in The Grocery Story Today.........(wow)

How many of you engage in a discussion on religion at the grocery store? I find the debate on which apple is best for snacking much more interesting. Why does anyone care about the beliefs of others?

Oh, hell - nevermind GOING there to begin with. I'm not there to talk unless I brought a friend or family member.

I don't do grocery stores. L&B for the win (delivery.)

Funny, what are there, some 4,500 known religions (and their various versions of god) on planet Earth? Yet, at most, only one of them could possibly be correct, if any. Or are there that many gods?

Years ago we were having lunch with a Baptist minister and his wife. Of course he eventually hit us with the question "so, where do you go to church". I simply said well we don't go to church. And that was the end of it. I figured it was a lot easier than telling him the truth- that I'm Roman Catholic and my wife is Pagan. LOL. *boing*

If there is a "super-hero" (ie. a god, an overlord, a dear leader, an authoritarian, etc.) involved somewhere within their dogma, it is someone's religion (be it christian, jewish, muslim, communism, capitalism, socialism, citizen, rebel, etc.). And, all of it is simply programming.

You are whatever you have allowed yourself to be programmed to be. I prefer however to not be programmed to be as others would want me to be. I am unprogrammed and free to think my own thoughts and beliefs . .. and it's so cool. More should try it.

You're an idiot, and you don't have the first idea what you are talking about.

Many christians don't recognize Catholicism as Christian as the Catholics think salvation and forgiveness can come via intermediaries. It doesn't matter, it was a rude thing for her to say.

Thank you for explaining what we 'believe'.... pity that you are clueless. Idiot.

She was just explaining what many Christians think....she didn't say that's what SHE thought. I think you're jumping the gun a little.....
