This is for the Politics board not Flame or funny zone, right?

I'll give you a real response even though I am not honestly a Democrat.

Socialism does not work because of human failings. For the most part we will not show up at work and work our hardest just because we should. There is always some excuse "well he is slacking off down the line" or "the old cripple man who gets paid as much as I do cant keep up so why do we get the same house".

Is pure Socialism my ideal? Not really. Is pure capitalism my ideal? Not really.

I do usually vote for Democrats so I suppose my answer is what you must settle for if you were looking for serious responses. If not let my apologies.
