So Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians are in fact, Nazis

Why are progressives so fucking stupid?

Only a progressive would have the fucking audacity to label a libertarian an "authoritarian" and feel snug doing so.

I will say this tho - I am in fact superior to progressives. At least I know the difference between libertarian and authoritarian.

So I suppose my feelings of "superiority" over the ignorant man makes me a "Nazi."

So I suppose if you're intelligent you are a Nazi hahahaha...

why are so ignorant about anybody but yourself?

Okay now just stop. My view of Conservatives is like this: They cherish the values that made our country great. Even though the world is changing, there is room for preserving the things that made us great in the first place. They hold dear the principles that the Founding Fathers risked their lives for. All of this is a good thing. The only time there is conflict, is when it is taken to the extreme and excludes any new ideas / progress as being "Socialists" or whatever.

The left, taken to its natural extreme is communism. Conservatives generally dislike the whole concept of communism.

The right, taken to its natural extreme is either Fascism - which Conservatives generally dislike as much as communism. Or it's other natural extreme is anarchy. Anarchy is not really a good idea either. The Constitution was supposed to provide Americans with as much freedom as possible, without the country descending into anarchy.

Not rocket science.

Not a great analysis. The mere prevention of anarchy can be achieved by any form of government. We're set up for rule by the majority, but protection of the liberties off the minority.

Remember when the Left
use to care about the deaths of our brave US soldiers

Now, they hardly say a word
Sad, how that works

60% of U.S. Military Deaths in Afghanistan Have Occurred Since Obama Was Inaugurated in 2009

another stupid non-vet cocksucker.

Let me know when Conservatives, Libertarians, etc are responsible for the mass slaughter of human beings.

The OP's stupidly offensive bullshit gets negged, as does anyone - left or right - who calls other people 'Nazis'. It is disrespectful to the dead.

As far as stupid goes, hmmm. Maybe next time, try reading the post first. Then you won't look so stupid!

The thread refers to the American Nazi Party and is factually accurate.

This is tongue in cheek folks. It's a parody of what extremist views run amok, can lead to. Someone else started a thread stating that Democrats are all Socialist. Did he back it up with specifics? Cite sources? Even bother to define what "Socialism" is or what he means by it? Nope.
But I will. Ironically, the biggest Nazi Party in America is not the American Nazi Party but rather, The National Socialist Movement - which is 100% Nazi. What are their stances on the issues?

Nazis are violently opposed to Obama - no matter what he does. Just like ConservaRepubs & Libertarians.

The Nazis blame America's problems on illegal immigrants - even problems that are obviously unrelated. Just like ConservaRepubs & Libertarians.

The Nazis want the "Papers Please" policy throughout the US. This is the one, galvanizing political issue which is giving the large and smaller Nazi groups momentum. Just like ConservaRepubs & Libertarians.

The Nazis want the government to have control over killing the living (i.e. death penalty)but they also want the government to have control over a woman's body (i.e. they are for overturning Roe v. Wade). Just like ConservaRepubs & Libertarians.

The Nazis are VERY into the Right to Bear Arms - even auto weapons, or in bars or on school grounds. Just like ConservaRepubs & Libertarians.

The Nazis are very clear that America is a Christian Nation. JuJust like ConservaRepubs & Libertarians.

The Nazis are offended that any language other than English is used in businesses etc... let alone schools. Just like ConservaRepubs & Libertarians.

They hate Jews most but ... The Nazis hate Muslims, consider ALL of them to be a threat to America and whether they have ever known one personally or studied the Koran, they claim to "know" what it is all about. Just like ConservaRepubs & SOME Libertarians.

The Nazis feel that homosexuality is either a choice or a "disease" that should be cured or eliminated. Obviously not people who should the rights of "Normal" people.
Just like ConservaRepubs & SOME Libertarians.

Now guess what? I know lots of Conservatives who are very fine, loving, hard-working compassionate people. I dont believe Conservative are Nazis. But as opposed to the extremist who label all LibDems as being socialist, I can cite several local chapters and candidates from the GOP AND Libertarian parties who agree with all or almost all of these...... Nazi positions.
It doesn't mean they're Nazis. Any more than LibDems are Socialists.

Okay. THAT will stir up the pot a bit! Have fun with this one.. :scared1:

Democrats and Socialism have a long history of coexistence. In fact, if I recall correctly, many Democrats/Socialists/Progressives supported Hitler. I think your thread failed before it got started because you do not properly understand the terms here.

A Socialists believes that the government should supply non public goods.I would love to explain the difference between a public and a non public good, but it is a little hard to pin down without citing examples. The Nazis were actually socialists, and, if not for their racism, would have loved Obama.

Would you like an example of libertarians who support Obama?

Libertarians for Obama

Republicans?

Conservatives for Obama Blog

Even for a tongue in cheek post you are so far off that it is not worth pointing out just how far off you are. To put it in terms Obama would appreciate, you are trying to sink a put for the 18th hole, but your ball is still on the 1st tee.

Dude, like our other friend, you missed a rather significant point. I never said anything about any Germans...

LOL!!! Gotta love this combination:

"Why are progressives so fucking stupid?"
&
"feel snug doing so."

Considering this thread is a take off on reublicans and libertarians always accusing democrats of being socialists and communists, it is only befitting that the OP author is doing the same thing to republicans and libertarians saying that they are Nazi's. Duh, it's called sarcasm, but I like the way you idiots think it is a serious thread. carry on.

Well, in his uh snug superiority, Nick kinda missed that rather obvious attribute of the thread...

Nazis, Republicans and some Libertarians are Authoritarians.

Same Genus, different Species.

Which libertarians are authoritarian? Most people consider them to be anarchist. Would you like a list of the authoritarian Democrats and Progressives currently in our government?

Most libertarians want to abolish entirely all forms of government and authority?

Okay now just stop. My view of Conservatives is like this: They cherish the values that made our country great.
Conservatives let us down on values that were once cherished, prompting a host of laws to seek conformity of equality.

Generally, an ideal of uniformity in treatment or status by those in a position to affect either. Acknowledgment of the right to equality often must be coerced from the advantaged by the disadvantaged. Equality of opportunity was the founding creed of U.S. society, but equality among all peoples and between the sexes has proved easier to legislate than to achieve in practice. Social or religious inequality is deeply ingrained in some cultures and thus difficult to overcome (see caste). Government efforts to achieve economic equality include enhancing opportunities through tax policy, subsidized training and education, redistributing wealth or resources, and preferential treatment of those historically treated unequally (see affirmative action). The conservatives let us down on the American Creed, and no longer defend their country against all enemies, nor do they believe in equality or justice or humanity for ALL.

American's Creed is:
“I believe in the United States of America, as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principals of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.”

The conservative let us down on WE THE PEOPLE of the Constitution, and began preaching individualism and ME THE PERSON. Even though they know Americans were socialist in nature when they came to America, huddled in communes, shared company stores, and relied on welfare from Indians, they now claim the General Welfare clause holds a different meaning.

The conservatives no longer can say the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag, because they no longer believe in Liberty and Justice for ALL.

So I am hard pressed to accept your terms of cherished values, as being attached to any founding fathers principles.

that would be nice, but it is still a cream dream. there has always been the nomos, physis debate. There are laws even in nature which man can't be circumnavigated and manipulated into societal law of existence. Less govt. I'd love it, but my main problem is with state and local govts. The fed rarely ever harasses me.

That is correct. Some want it entirely protected by the likes of Black Water hired by communities. They want the water, energy, national forests, buildings etc. sold off at auction to the highest rich bidders. They want all the highways, water ways, dams & power plants owned by gov to be sold off to the highest rich bidders. You will then be run by an entire private system, where you drive on toll roads, buy water from lake owners, and other sevrices will be corporate owned by the rich. A nightmare on America is what they offer.

What does James Madison- “Father of the Constitution” have to say

James Madison- James Madison letter to James Robertson

“With respect to the words general welfare, I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them.
To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of
proofs was not contemplated by its creators.
”

Government grows proportionate to the peoples needs. I don't mind a small government if we are going to gut it entirely and eliminate all programs and the military, and make funding any gov program voluntarily by taking the power away to fund from Congress and the president and returning the power to the people. Are you game?

Actually, power to gov't grows proportionate to the politician's desire for power

Just following the US Constitution would have been enough for me

Yet, he was wrong. Congress proved him wrong. The Supreme Court proved him wrong. And the general welfare stood for education, farmers and US Banks. It was used by Lewis & Clark to map America. To sell off US gov. lands. etc.

Alexander Hamilton, argued for a broad interpretation which viewed spending as an enumerated power Congress could exercise independently to benefit the general welfare, such as to assist national needs in agriculture or education, provided that the spending is general in nature and does not favor any specific section of the country over any other.[18]

Although The Federalist was not reliably distributed outside of New York,[19] the essays eventually became the dominant reference for interpreting the meaning of the Constitution as they provided the reasoning and justification behind the Framers' intent in setting up the federal government.[19]

In United States v. Butler. There, the Court agreed with Justice Story's construction, holding the power to tax and spend is an independent power; that is, the General Welfare Clause gives Congress power it might not derive anywhere else. However, the Court did limit the power to spending for matters affecting only the national welfare. The Court wrote:

“ [T]he [General Welfare] clause confers a power separate and distinct from those later enumerated, is not restricted in meaning by the grant of them, and Congress consequently has a substantive power to tax and to appropriate, limited only by the requirement that it shall be exercised to provide for the general welfare of the United States. … It results that the power of Congress to authorize expenditure of public moneys for public purposes is not limited by the direct grants of legislative power found in the Constitution. … But the adoption of the broader construction leaves the power to spend subject to limitations. … [T]he powers of taxation and appropriation extend only to matters of national, as distinguished from local, welfare. ”

They didn't prove jack shit...All they did was ignore original intent in favor of their power lust.

. But I will. Ironically, the biggest Nazi Party in America is not the American Nazi Party but rather, The National Socialist Movement -:

The National Socialist German Workers' Party (German: About this sound Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (help·info), abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the Nazi Party,

The nazi's were the German socialist party "NATIONALSOZIALISTICHE" nazi for short. Hitler opted to follow fascism which is an offshoot of socialism
