What makes me laugh is that they were dumb enough to use their military email in the first place.
It literally take a whole 5 minutes to set up a GMail account that is a little more difficult to trace back to the user, and has the added benefit of not being a violation of misuse of gov't. resources.

The link suggests that the e-mail addresses may have been fake. It's possible and likely that all the e-mail addresses and data were fake. The guys were just having a good time at the expense of the alleged dating site.

Technically, adultery is still an offense under the UCMJ, because fuck the 21st century. So you can see why people were using this kind of site.
