Ali was a great self-promoter, and a great promoter for boxing in-general. I never liked him because he was so GOOD at it! He had a big mouth, but it was all an act, and it was all entertainment.
Smokin' Joe Frazier was a CLASS ACT. He is the boxer who really got me interested in boxing as a young teen in the late 60s and early 70s.
I remember it broke my heart when George Foreman destroyed Frazier in their fight. I'll never forget the punch that Foreman landed on Frazier that literally lifted Frazier OFF THE GROUND. Incredible!
It's tough to lose one of the all-time greats, especially so suddenly. Rest In Peace, Smokin' Joe. Rest In Peace.
