Sleepy Time Stories

Once upon a time there was a small city unincorporated. Within it's dwelling of man made boudaries was found to be a bunch of cloud cover. Day after day, the sun would shine it's brightness through the cloud cover, and in some cases, through the poorly made roof that covered some town kin while they slumbered. One day the milk man came by with a chassie, and his dog Lassie, with excavating abilities, and patched the various roofs of this town like clothing patches on the buttock of worn jeans. Then it was, that the sun shined where intended and allowed for sleep otherwise.

Nice story but why are all those lazy bastards slumbering while the sun is shining? They all working the night shift?
