It's something right out of Orwell's 1984. You find some poor trailer trash or inner city nut case who defaulted in their car loan and get the cameras out as you make a deal to not tow the vehicle if they can answer some trivia questions. You can feel the tension building in the lives of those poor people. First of all there is no legal requirement that reality shows are real. They can edit the tapes and script the dialog for the required drama and even supply the answers to get the right effect. It's awful stuff and typical of how the American media has degenerated.
