When it's a Poll, as opposed to a pole.



Is 1,020 adults 18 and over, on landline and cell phones, an accurate sample size?

Any given day around here you can find some bullshit poll about one thing or another.
I thank BluePhantom for the time and effort put into his Poll-Thread.
At least, there, he takes a half-dozen or so and averages them.
That gives us more than 6,000 for our sample size but still seems small considering we're about to break the 313 Million mark in population.

Am I being a "flat-earther" for not buying into polls?

I'm reminded of the saying, "There's lies, damned lies and statistics"
