Famous, "Sissies Owning Businesses, " SOB's, tend to be members of "Chamber of Commerce," COC, and no one seems to want to acknowledge which membership actually killed off all the jobs.
Anyone knows that real government money went to: State and Local government employment. Some had been earmarked for the bail-out of the financial system, which took less than a year to repay. Some went to bail-out automakers, except for Ford Motor Co., which seems to be on the mend. Some are hoping that Toyota will some day mend the electronic systems.
Then there are the SOB's at COC, who destroyed all the small business jobs. These people didn't seem to think that the State and Local government employees would go shopping anymore(?)!
Notice the progression! Wall Street hit the skids. Panic hit the headllines! Anti-American Mania was on, especially at the GOP, Tea-Partier, small business ventures. The Anti-American sentiment was in the lay-offs. Somehow, it became widespread knowledge that billionaire bankers were the only people who had ever gone shopping before the crash!
And so the banks stopped lending.
And so the Stimulus Spending managed to get blamed, rather than credited, for staving off the disaster. The Tea Partiers, in an Obama Administration, would go on to call for a return to the America that the Founding Fathers knew for certain. The suggested Time Frame was 1750- 1787. No doubt the concept of "property," and of "bull-whips," and of Pillories and of other devices were to be included.
And so we are led to that famous imagery of George Washington, crossing the Delaware, with foremost on his mind, "Keep your cotton-picking hands off Toyota Motors!"
That will probably make the RNC website, along with what is already on it.

(And so The Colonies have yet to imagine how George Washington, in person, would have acknowledged that Barack Obama would be President of the United States. The Founding Fathers appear to have had different ideas, entirely, actually!)
