The last time some guy wanted to put too many explosions in a movie, I ate his liver with some fava beans, and a nice chianti.

The WW2 generation...there will never be another like them. They did what they had to for their country without a second thought. I used to love when my grandma would tell me stories about her and my grandpa's life while he was in Germany during the war. Recently, some relatives sent my mom a couple of letters that my grandpa had written to his siblings from Germany. They are 61 years old adn still in good shape.

    Boy,are people different now!!

I think the difference is that people have had it so good for so long now that they can't fathom a life of hardship that those people had to deal with. Everything they had, they earned. Nothing was handed to them. They didnt want handouts. That was the mentality. Now its a "Ask not what i can do for my country but what can my country do for me" attitude with todays people. People create hardships out of trivial things.

"Oh my life's so hard because Bush is president." Get the fuck over it you pussy. Youre still breathin and life goes on.
