It's pretty obvious this Country is on a downhill slide on a very slippery slope. If you don't believe that then there's no point in your posting anything.

Question: What do you think is the best method/way of helping minimize the the inevitable?

The metric I use to assess our situation is simple; when havoc is created, chaos ensues and catastrophe is inevitable. Historians will assign the time line(s) - or maybe your method/way involves addressing a particular time/grievance

Yes, I have an opinion- but, I'd like for people to stop and think about what they believe best path to take and present an implementation.

So I'm a Christian.... I stating that up front, so everyone knows my bias.

I think the solution that can turn the American culture, and thus country around, is for Christian men and women, to get married, stay married, and have lots of kids. 6 or more per family.

By teaching inherent Christian values to the next generation, and by out-breeding the pagans, we can reverse the decline of America.

That is my opinion.

Well, Chicken Little...The sky is not falling just yet..I believe that we are in a time of transition--and that a lot of people..especially older folks...are ignoring the positive just a bit.
Yes, the right has lost the cultural battles of last century..but that's not a bad thing..IMO. People are getting enough to eat...and medical care is available to all..at least at a basic level. The demographic is changing..for sure...and that's scary to many.

Climate change is the biggest hurdle facing the next few generations..so I'd address that...move my people from the coasts..invest in companies that will boom when the East Coast goes bust.

The younger generation lives in abject ignorance. The current generation will, for the first time in the history of our nation, be less affluent and have a shorter life span. They will enjoy fewer Freedoms and Liberties. They will fight against diseases that medicine is having a hard time keeping pace with. Family relationships will be weaker and more people will be reliant on drugs to make it through the day.

America currently consumes over 80 percent of the world's opioid supply and has more people in prison than any nation on the face of the planet. Over half of that prison population are drug addicts.

Maybe I understood your question differently than others here. We know that the Republic is dead. It may not be official, but the inevitable is happening. We are rapidly becoming a One World / One Race / One Religion, left wing democratic - socialist third world cesspool.

There are two considerations: history is cyclical and a remnant always survives to start over. I visit these boards and hope to find those of like mind. You fellowship with those of like mind and faith. You build a strong family and build strong friendships (I have had some of the same friends since the early 1980s.)

Becoming independent, self sufficient, and self reliant should be high on your priority list. Each one teach one; support each other when possible - even if the price is higher than the big box guy. Don't become a part of the system. Get off the grid to the extent that you can. I have been saying for a few years that we may want to think about our own Magna Charta or Declaration of Independence.

Protect your Rights, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Be defenders of the faith and be the person others look to in times of trials and tribulations. Faith, courage and decisive action will sustain you.

Well, Chicken Little...The sky is not falling just yet..I believe that we are in a time of transition--and that a lot of people..especially older folks...are ignoring the positive just a bit.
Yes, the right has lost the cultural battles of last century..but that's not a bad thing..IMO. People are getting enough to eat...and medical care is available to all..at least at a basic level. The demographic is changing..for sure...and that's scary to many.

Climate change is the biggest hurdle facing the next few generations..so I'd address that...move my people from the coasts..invest in companies that will boom when the East Coast goes bust.

Thanks to those who have responded sincerely, with a *remedy*- being a K.I.S.S. kinda guy I like to state things as simply as possible. A common denominator the sincere remedies have is; leave your space a little better than you found it.
To be a bit more verbose, this Country was founded on a principle of respecting the rights of others. As I said time lines will be determined by Historians, but, at some point disrespecting the rights of the Individual became an *official* solution to "we have to do something". As Porter pointed out the US has the highest incarceration rate in the world- because "we have to do something". That "official" mandate has led to a fed gov't reaching way beyond it's enumerated powers, ostensibly, to make us safer. Fear of incarceration is hardly making a rational, thinking person feel safe. It does make some (law writers) feel powerful and probably good about themselves, which is illustrative of the root of the problem- a lack of respect, for self and others.
At this point fighting a system as corrupt as we have will lead to bankruptcy, or death. It's not if, but when. We have the diametric opposite of our founding principle, made "official".
There is no immediate fix- that is political nonsense. It can only be fixed over time. Time spent working to leave your space a little better than you found it- in other words, lead by example. It's not the collective, it's Individual effort. It always has been and always will be, History provides the concrete evidence. The collective is but a supporting cast to an Individual. Ironically, the collectives ideology is, fundamentally, disrespectful to and of the Individual. Inform as many as you can that Truth can't be denied- if it was true yesterday, and true today, it will be true tomorrow- the Truth, denied by politicians in general and the populace at large is; all men are created equal and have certain unalienable rights, among these are the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness- there are no caveats. It is a Life philosophy and principle. If not taken to heart it's useless, but, taken to heart and lived it can create an exponential effect and you will have left your space better than you found it.

Take a look at my avatar, my best friend and I at one time thought totally different, because he was a Democrat voter. After much debate and showing how he wasn't a flaming liberal but had conservative ideas and practices, he then moved towards the "right" side. He also enlightens others how the corrupt Left, has duped others and getting them to also move away, like Kanya West is doing.
