i don't understand why the planned protests against the DNC Convention. I understand why they would protest the GOP but aren't the democrats supposed to be on their side? How much more ass kidding do they want?

No, it doesn't. The Democrats are trying to be on their side, Hillary has been spouting consiliatory and patronizing rhetoric in her campaign, plus the house and senate democrats nave been showing nothing but solidarity with them. Your one word answer falls far short of the facts.

Bernie isn't a Democrat. He's a (Socialist) Independent. The Dems are counting on his supporters falling in behind hiLIARy even though they oppose what she stands for. Some will, but I suspect that a lot won't.
