A place in England just got over 1 foot of rain in less than an hour.

And, of course, it’s all President Trump’s fault.

Record high temperatures are being shattered all over the planet, but meanwhile some parts of the U.S. were just buried by massive amounts of snow. The sixth largest city in India is literally running out of water due to extremely dry conditions, but in middle America it just won’t stop raining. In fact, the Midwest is getting hammered by more severe storms as I write this article. Meanwhile, Australia is being forced to import enormous amounts of wheat due to the extraordinary drought that nation is currently experiencing. Everywhere you look around the globe we see bizarre weather extremes. Worldwide weather patterns are shifting dramatically, and many believe that what we have witnessed so far is just the beginning.

Just look at what is happening in Colorado. Some parts of the state got up to 20 inches of snow on Saturday, and as a result Colorado’s snowpack is currently more than 4,000 percent above normal

More than 4.6 million people live in the city of Chennai, India. Thanks to a drought that never seems to end, the main reservoirs that normally supply that city with water are rapidly going dry

In the next few days, high temperatures are expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) in Spain, and that prompted one meteorologist to warn that “hell is coming”

Temperatures are likely to climb above 40 degrees Fahrenheit in parts of Spain and approach that in Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium. Overnight temperatures will stay balmy, which poses particularly acute health risks to children and the elderly.

More than 50 million people are bracing for severe weather from the Plains to the Southeast as scattered thunderstorms prompt flash flood alerts, possible tornadoes and hail.

A large weather system is expected to bring damaging wind gusts and large hail for parts of the South and into the Appalachians, Ohio Valley and Great Lakes.

Heavy rain and flash flooding inundated parts of southwest Missouri during the weekend, prompting water rescues and evacuations.

These are some of the results of the equator being warmer year after year and sending the jet streams further north and the resulting polar air pushing back in abnormal patterns.

Mother Nature has gotten a little bipolar lately. We went from 20-year drought with fires everywhere to year-long floodplain weather with water everywhere. That's Walker County for ya.

We had record rainfall, like almost twice our annual rainfall, last year but most of that came off two hurricanes and one snowstorm that dropped 14 inches on us. Beyond that, it has been fairly mundane. Not much snow this past winter which is the norm; not that much killer heat so far, which is the norm.

Come Autumn they'll be whining about floods.

It keeps them busy.
The graveyard got flooded the day before a funeral I attended yesterday. They had to wait to lower the casket until the water drained out of the hole they dug. We've had few breaks in the rain since late summer last year. We have rain forecast for the next 15 days shows only 3 partly cloudy days and rainclouds for the other 12. Pass the bottled water, please.

Michigan corn will NOT be knee high by the 4th of July this year. Way too wet and corn likes dry.

Thanks for the memory.....

About 10 years ago a young buy I knew died in an ATV crash. He was buried in a remote, ancient cemetery.

Temporarily.

There were "hundred year" rainstorms that summer and the box popped up....well......floated.

When the water went down his family reburied him.

Then there was a second string of "hundred year" rainstorms.

Like cream - he rose to the top.

This time when the water went down they reburied him BUT added a 3-foot white picket fence around the grave.

Then they filled it with the biggest rocks they could carry.

So far he's stayed put.

The "wise" blamed it all on global warming. Rain. Not drought.

Brilliant.

The MET has failed in its predictions yet again. All of the "high" temps are actually highs above average and they just changed the average span so this metric means absolutely nothing. It is a slight of hand to make you think it is still warming when it is in fact cooling. This is truly amazing the great lengths these people will go to push a political agenda.

The pattern changes are due to two things, The cooling of the planet and the axial tilt of the earth changing.

What the idiots over in Europe are missing is the Atlantic circulation is now cold and will remain so for 30 years. The cooling and weather pattern changes coming to them will be a rerun of the 1730 era.

I've lived in this area of the US for 33 years and we have had seasons with more rains than this year. For the month of June we have around twelve inches, normally 6.6, several years back we had 12-20 inch rainy seasons...But the river has not flooded since 2017.
